Asha's gifts...a new outfit, little lamb shoes, bath toys, a turquoise jumper, a cool inch worm from the best cousins ever (thanks Josh and Lili) and an Indian jewelry box picked out by Daddy.
Kirk, I, and my Dad blew out the candle, and made a giant heartfelt wish. I think you all know what we wished for! Then we ate cake with visions of next years birthday swimming through our heads....Thank you everyone, for making Asha's 1st birthday so special.
What a beautiful celebration for Asha, I am sure she is going to have a wonderful 2nd birthday with her forever family. So hope it's really soon that you can be together. As you said right now everything is more or less shut in Kolkata especially government offices but come November things should be back to normal.
